## Ας μιλήσουμε

###  Ποια είναι η διαφορά μεταξύ των δημητριακών ολικής άλεσης και των επεξεργασμένων δημητριακών; 



Τα προϊόντα «ολικής» άλεσης περιέχουν περισσότερα θρεπτικά συστατικά από τα επεξεργασμένα, επειδή διατηρούνται όλα τα μέρη του σπόρου - φλοιό, ενδοσπέρμιο, φύτρο - μαζί με τις φυτικές ίνες, τις βιταμίνες, τα μέταλλα και φυτοθρεπτικά συστατικά τους. Εν αντιθέσει, ο φλοιός και το φύτρο απομακρύνονται κατά τη διαδικασία παραγωγής των επεξεργασμένων δημητριακών. Επομένως, τα δημητριακά ολικής άλεσης περιέχουν περισσότερα θρεπτικά συστατικά από τα επεξεργασμένα δημητριακά.
