Chocapic apple and pear crumble



Wanna start the day with a classic favorite? The whole family will love this crunchy chocolatey crumble topping, mixed perfectly with the soft sweet fruits.

3 pears
3 apples
8 tbsp brown sugar
120 g flour
16 tbsp cracked Chocapic®
125 g softened butter (cut in cubes)
1 tbsp cinnamon powder
2 tsp vanilla sugar
1 shortbread dough


  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • Peel and cut the fruits into cubes. Cook them with gentle heat for 5 minutes in a lightly buttered frying pan. Sprinkle the vanilla sugar and cinnamon. Let it cool.
  • Unroll your dough in a round pie dish and jab the bottom with a fork. Dispose the fruits evenly on the dough.
  • Mix the sugar, the cracked CHOCAPIC®, the flour and the butter to obtain a lumpy dough.
  • Crumble the dough above the fruits and load the oven for 30 to 35 minutes.

    How can I find foods made with whole grain?

    Two things to remember: • Look for food labels where the word 'whole' appears in front of the name of the grain, like “whole wheat” or “wholemeal bread”. • For foods with more than one ingredient, make sure whole grain is listed towards the top of the ingredients list. The further up the list it is, the more whole grain has been used in the recipe. And look out for the percentage of whole grain. You should find this in the ingredients list too. It’s easy to know if a Nestlé breakfast cereal is made with whole grain: just look out for the Green Banner and whole grain tick on top of the box.

    What should be in a complete breakfast?

    A complete breakfast should include a balance of nutrients from each of the major food groups.
