# Cream of Corn Soup

## Ingredients
- 2 tbsp butter
- ½ cup chopped bacon
- 1 pc onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can corn kernels, drained
- 2 tbsp all purpose flour
- 90g NESTLÉ Gold Corn Flakes, reserve ¼ cup for topping
- 4 cups water
- 8g MAGGI® Magic Sarap®
- ¼ tsp freshly ground pepper
- ¼ tsp ground nutmeg (optional)
- 125ml NESTLÉ All Purpose Cream
- 1 tbsp minced parsley
## Preparation
1. 3min
Sauté bacon in butter until crispy. Strain bacon and set aside for topping.
2. 5min
Sauté onion, garlic and corn in the same pot. Add flour and cook for 1min. Add NESTLÉ Gold Corn Flakes. Pour water and simmer for 2mins.
3. 2min
Carefully transfer into a blender and purée until smooth. Pour back in the same pot and gently simmer.
4. 5min
Season with MAGGI® Magic Sarap®, pepper and nutmeg. Stir in NESTLÉ All Purpose Cream. Pour into serving bowls. Top with reserved NESTLÉ Gold Corn Flakes, bacon bits and parsley. Serve immediately.
