# CHEERIOS® Fruitylicious Apple and Berry Bars

Great for a packed lunch or as a snack, these cereal bars are fruity and crunchy-licious. This simple, all-in-one method is easy-peasy – so the whole family can get involved!

## Ingredients
- 80g CHEERIOS® Multigrain Cereal, very roughly crushed
- 150g self raising flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- pinch of mixed spice
- 100g dried cherries, berries and raisins
- 30g dark muscovado sugar or brown sugar
- 1 apple, grated
- 1 egg
- 100ml low fat milk
## Preparation

Preheat the oven to 170ºC.
2. 1min
Grease and line a 20cm tin with baking parchment.
3. 1min
Combine all of the dry ingredients in a large bowl.
4. 1min
Add the grated apple.
5. 2min
Whisk the egg and add to the mix along with the milk and stir until just combined.
6. 1min
Pack the mix tightly into your tin and press it down firmly.
7. 15min
Bake for 18-20 minutes or until golden brown and just firm (an inserted skewer should come out clean).
8. 10min
Leave to cool for a few minutes in the tin and then carefully turn out.
9. 1min
Once cooled completely, divide into eight equal bars.
