# Cheerios® Crunchy Chicken Nuggets

Coat your chicken with a sprinkle of Cheerios® and serve with your favourite dip and veggies for a yummy crunchy lunch.

## Ingredients
- 60g CHEERIOS® Multigrain Cereal, finely crushed
- 2 skinless, boneless chicken fillets, cut into roughly 3cm pieces
- 20g butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp flour
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp honey
- half a tbsp dijon mustard
- pinch of pepper
## Preparation

place the chicken pieces in a bowl with the flour and season with pepper
2. 1min
whisk the egg, honey and mustard together lightly in a second bowl and dip each chicken piece into the egg, coating thoroughly
3. 2min
a third bowl will contain your crushed CHEERIOS® Multigrain Cereal, into which place your egg mixture coated chicken pieces

set aside while you heat your butter and 1 tbsp of olive oil in a large frying pan over a medium heat

lightly fry the chicken pieces, turning occasionally, until cooked through and no pink meat remains (7-10 minutes)

serve on a bed of leaves, fresh tomatoes and a dressing or dip of your choice, or tuck the nuggets into a wrap with salad and mayonnaise for a super tasty meal on the go…
