    Cheerios® applesauce muffins

    Ingredients

    • 2 cups CHEERIOS® cereal
    • 1.25 cups of flour
    • 0.5 cup packed brown sugar
    • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
    • 1 tsp baking soda
    • 0.75 tsp baking soda
    • 3 pouches applesauce on the go (3.2 oz each)
    • 0.3 cup milk
    • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
    • 1 egg

    Instructions

    • Heat oven to 200°C.
    • Spray bottoms only of 12 regular-size muffin cups with cooking spray.
    • Crush cereal.
    • In large bowl, stir cereal, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, baking powder and baking soda together.
    • Stir in remaining ingredients until moistened.
    • Divide batter evenly among the muffin cups.
    • Bake 18 to 22 minutes or until golden brown.
