Simply check our packaging as it’s clearly labelled in line with food labelling requirements. Also, all of our cereals carry the ‘Nutrition Information Panel’; a clear, transparent guide to how much protein, carbohydrate, fat and sugar is in a single portion. 

Breakfast is part of a healthy and balanced diet, and Nestlé® Breakfast Cereals are both nutritious and tasty with:

• 100% of our cereals with “Wholegrain as No.1 Ingredient”

• 100% of the portfolio with source of fibre

• 80% of our cereals contain at least 4 vitamins and 2 minerals.

• 100% of our cereals have equal to or less than 2 teaspoons of sugar (~10g) per serving

• 100% of our cereals have less than ⅛ teaspoon of salt (~250mg sodium) per serving 

You should have a mix of carbohydrates, fibre, protein, vitamins & minerals, and you can choose pretty much what you like, as long as you pick from the different food groups: grains, fruit and dairy - and of course a glass of water. Read more

Every grain grows whole grain, but it’s only a “whole grain” if it has all three parts intact when consumed. The 3 parts are full of nutrients:  

• The bran 

• The endosperm (starchy centre) 

• The germ (the core with the seed) 

While half of our European portfolio doesn’t contain any oil (mainly our flakes) the other half of our recipes feature oil on the ingredient list. Its primary use is to help in the manufacturing process: it acts as a lubricant when we are shaping the product and, helps avoiding stickiness. In some products oil plays a role in the sensory profile – how the product feels and tastes in the mouth.
