Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp butter​
  • ½ cup chopped bacon​
  • 1 pc onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced​
  • 1 can corn kernels, drained ​
  • 2 tbsp all purpose flour
  • 90g NESTLÉ Gold Corn Flakes, reserve ¼ cup for topping​
  • 4 cups water​
  • 8g MAGGI® Magic Sarap®
  • ¼ tsp freshly ground pepper​
  • ¼ tsp ground nutmeg (optional)
  • 125ml NESTLÉ All Purpose Cream
  • 1 tbsp minced parsley​

Preparation

Sauté bacon in butter until crispy. Strain bacon and set aside for topping.​

Sauté onion, garlic and corn in the same pot. Add flour and cook for 1min. Add NESTLÉ Gold Corn Flakes. Pour water and simmer for 2mins.​

Carefully transfer into a blender and purée until smooth. Pour back in the same pot and gently simmer.​

Season with MAGGI® Magic Sarap®, pepper and nutmeg. Stir in NESTLÉ All Purpose Cream. Pour into serving bowls. Top with reserved NESTLÉ Gold Corn Flakes, bacon bits and parsley. Serve immediately.​
