At Cereal Partners Worldwide, our purpose is clear. We Make Breakfast Better.
Ever since we were created over 30 years ago, that’s been our promise to our consumers, our suppliers, our employees, and the communities where we work and live.
 
We make over 100 different breakfast cereals – giving everybody an option for a delicious, convenient, and nutritious breakfast. We always look to find new ways to improve our recipes. This means innovating and improving everything we do - from how we source ingredients, to how we make our products, to the way we work.

Breakfast is part of a healthy and balanced diet. Whether it’s a quick bite as you run out the door, or a quiet moment before your day starts… breakfast is important.
 
Our pursuit of a better breakfast will never end. We need to challenge ourselves to continually improve our current products and expand our portfolio to offer a range of breakfast cereals that meet our consumers’ needs.
 
For more than two decades, our teams have been working on improving our recipes increasing the amount of whole grain, lowering the sugar and salt, and removing artificial colors and flavors.
 
Cereal Partners Worldwide (CPW) was the first major global cereal company to commit to having whole grain as a main ingredient in our cereals.
 
Today, we’re proud to report that:
  • Whole grain is the number one ingredient in 90% of all our products
  • This rises to 99% in our ready-to-eat breakfast cereals for children and teenagers
  • All our products carrying the green banner provide a minimum of 8g whole grain in every serving (30g)
     
Since 2014*, we can also report that we have:
 
  • increased the level of fiber in our products by over 14%. Today, over 98% of our ready-to-eat portfolio is classified as a source of fiber. 75% of our portfolio is classed as high in fiber.
  • decreased sugar levels by over 10%
  • decreased salt levels by 25%
  • fortified over 87% of our products with calcium, iron, or B vitamins. In 2023, we served 9 billion bowls of fortified cereals.
 
*While the reformulations started in 2003, the reporting is taken on the last decade for compliance and utmost accuracy. Calculations are based on the differences between Nestlé-branded breakfast cereals and bars total 2014 and 2024 volumes
